Adam S. Jacobson, MD

Dr. Jacobson is an attending physician in the department of otolaryngology at Mount Sinai Beth Israel. He is also assistant professor of otolaryngology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and is a member of the New York Head and Neck Society, American Head and Neck Society, and an associate fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Jacobson graduated from Syracuse University and received his medical degree with honors from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey–Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He completed residency in otolaryngology–head and neck surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital. He subsequently completed a fellowship in head and neck oncology and microvascular surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital. He has presented nationally and internationally on head and neck cancer as well as head and neck reconstruction and has authored numerous peer-reviewed scientific articles and book chapters. Dr. Jacobson’s areas of special interest are in thyroid and parathyroid surgery, salivary gland surgery, head and neck cancer, head and neck reconstruction, minimally invasive head and neck surgery, and airway surgery.
