Our team has expertise in all of the disciplines involved in diagnosing and treating head and neck cancer, ensuring an appropriate level of treatment that is tailored to each patient’s particular condition and disease. Patients benefit from a collaborative approach from beginning to end. Radiologists don’t just identify the scope of the disease; they also assist in management of the case throughout the course of the patient’s follow-up. The head and neck surgeon, maxillofacial surgeon and maxillofacial prosthodontist meet together with patients and their families. There is tremendous benefit for the patient to sit in a room with all of the physicians involved in his or her care to best understand the scope and timing of all aspects of treatment.
